(San Diego, CA) Starbucks has recently introduced a new version of their logo which features a topless mermaid with her legs spread, which has caused outrage from a nation wide Christian media watchdog organization. The Resistance, with has over 3000 members nationwide, is boycotting Starbucks across the country saying their new logo is inappropriate.

“The Starbucks logo has a naked woman on it with her legs spread like a prostitute,” explains Mark Dice, founder of the group. “Need I say more? It’s extremely poor taste, and the company might as well call themselves, Slutbucks.”

As usual, God's spokespeople have zero knowledge of history, revealing themselves as the idiots they are (a tradition that goes back long before the woodcut was made). As if they go to Starbucks--aren't they the one making fun of the latte sipping crowd?

i wasn't planning to go this morning but now I have to just to see the new logo and will even spend the 10 cents more to not use my refillable slutbucks cup. i have to flaunt the naked, spread-"legged" mermaid....she's such a 'ho LOL!

hahahaha slutbucks hahahaha......judging on what the other people said its just a reinstitution of an old logo...I that case I see no harm in it...last time I checked I go to starbucks to feast and fill my belly then to go and stare on logos.

Starbucks tried to meet them halfway. The nipples are showing on original version; this new version has hair covering them.

Hahaha, funny reaction. Yes, this is Starbucks original logo when they started back in the 70's (I believe) and their marketing strategy here was more of a retro-look back to its origins than anything else.
