Bananas

Today I heard the strangest thing at the grocery store. There I was picking out my bananas when this older couple walked past and behind me. Then I heard it "did you want to get some bananas dear? " Then came the reply. " no... I'm to old to buy green bananas."  WHAT....... what the hell does that mean.. Is he going to die before they turn yellow?   I swear I LOL.
